As our society progresses we come up with more and more theories concerning various aspects of our lives, each apparently smarter than the previous. The same goes for trying to achieve success in life, be it in the professional or private life areas. The popular and rather widespread impression about how to set goals is to make a plan or get an itinerary exactly as you do when going on a trip. Without a plan or itinerary it is very difficult to get where you want to regardless of whether the goals are short or long term.
